Software Engineer/Mobile Application Developer

Required Qualifications:

  • BS or equivalent experience in Computer Science or other technical field
  • Ability developing for standard mobile devices: iPhone, iPad or Android
  • Knowledge of designing interfaces using Objective-C, Android SDK including the unique tasks of designing applications for small screen size
  • Knowledge of Cocoa Touch Framework
  • Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written
     

 

Desired Qualifications:

 

  • Knowledge of designing interfaces that use ASP.NET, C#, CSS, Javascript, DHTML, or HTML, Ajax
  • Knowledge of cross-browser development (IE and Firefox)
  • Experience with customizing web technologies for use on mobile devices

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop, and deliver high quality code and documentation for the iPhone (iOS) / Android client applications
  • Develop infrastructure components/frameworks on the iPhone (iOS) / Android platform that will enable client applications to work seamlessly with the client’s backend products/services
  • Work closely with QA to provide high testability of the client applications, and fix defects
  • Work with technical writers to provide technical content for user-facing documentation
  • Work with UX/UI designers closely to develop intuitive user interface and usability aspects of client application design
  • Follow Scrum methodology
