Description

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Demand Generation to lead the development and execution of high-impact marketing strategies that drive scalable pipeline growth. This position has a strong focus on driving qualified leads for sales, continuously measuring results and implementing improvements in the effectiveness of integrated marketing channels, critical in shaping Laserfiche’s go-to-market approach, integrating the latest AI tools and demand generation technologies to improve targeting, personalization, and conversion.
 
You will report directly to the CMO and collaborate closely across the organization and world, especially with Sales, Product Marketing, Industry Marketing, and the Operations team to ensure an aligned and predictable marketing funnel. This position requires a deep understanding of modern marketing technology stacks, customer journey orchestration, and AI-driven campaign innovation, including looking to evolve demand generation through the AI-revolution.
 
Location:
  • Three days per week from office - Long Beach, CA
  • Work from home on Mondays and Fridays
 
 
About the Role – Key Responsibilities
 

Strategic Demand Generation 

  • Own and execute the global demand generation strategy aligned with company revenue goals and sales objectives
  • Developing strategic plans setting measurable goals for all demand generation marketing channels and assets
  • Build and manage a scalable campaign framework across channels: digital, ABM, SEO/SEM, paid media, events, email, webinars, and partner marketing
  • Lead the creation of full-funnel marketing campaigns that generate awareness, nurture leads, and drive conversion across vertical markets
  • Managing the creation and implementation of yearly content calendars
  • Responsible for improving the effectiveness of the company’s digital marketing channels including SEO/SEM, blogs, display ads, email, webinars and owned web assets
  • Responsible for implementing privacy, op-in/tracking & compliance tools across marketing channels

AI-Driven Innovation and Tool Adoption 

  • Champion the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning in marketing campaigns—from predictive lead scoring to AI-generated content and hyper-personalization
  • Research, evaluate, and implement new demand generation tools and technologies to increase campaign efficiency and performance
  • Collaborate with internal AI teams to align messaging and demonstrate product innovation in demand efforts

Team Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Hire, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of demand generation marketers
  • Work closely with Sales, Product Marketing, RevOps, and Customer Success to ensure tight alignment and consistent messaging across the buyer’s journey
  • Serve as the marketing stakeholder for sales enablement and pipeline acceleration strategies

Performance Analytics and Optimization 

  • Responsible for reporting on all demand generation channels across the company
  • Own demand gen KPIs and report on campaign performance, pipeline impact, lead velocity, and ROI
  • Working with direct reports to set and oversee tactical marketing plans across demand generation marketing channels
  • Leverage platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, 6sense, and attribution modeling tools to track, optimize, and communicate program results
  • Use A/B testing, segmentation, and customer insights to continuously improve conversion rates and funnel performance
 
About You – Essential Qualifications
 
  • 7+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with at least 5 years leading demand generation teams in SaaS or enterprise software
  • Experience managing and implementing demand generation marketing campaigns across all digital and offline marketing channels
  • Proven success in creating and scaling data-driven marketing programs that directly contribute to revenue growth
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools
  • Strong grasp of AI applications in marketing, how AI is changing demand gen, and fluency in evaluating new martech tools
  • A strong understanding of the full customer journey and customer personas
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, project management, and leadership capabilities
  • Attention to detail, and project management skills. Ability to effectively communicate recommendations to senior and executive management 
  • Experience in regulated or complex industries (e.g., government, finance) is a plus
  • Global or (global region) experience is a plus

 

The salary range varies, and pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, certifications (if applicable), candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and years of experience amongst other factors.
  • Range: $170,000 - $190,000 per year
