Laserfiche is hiring a Privacy Risk and Compliance Manager with the vision and expertise to build and evolve our governance risk and compliance strategy and program. You will be responsible for supporting our privacy program and assisting the company’s compliance with all relevant privacy laws and regulations across Laserfiche globally. We ask that you efficiently and easily partner with teams across the company to develop insights and implement improvements into the mechanics of how teams incorporate compliance and privacy-by-design into operations and Laserfiche product life cycles.    

Location:   

  • Three days/week work from office – LA County
  • Work from home on Mondays and Fridays

About the Role - Essential Functions   

  • Provide strategic guidance to improve operational processes to establish, measure and improve privacy practices across the global organization.
  • Engage with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to identify privacy risks and issues as well as provide support on developing and strategizing mitigation plans to resolve potential issues.
  • Evolve our privacy program operating model with well-documented roadmaps, goals and objectives.
  • Administer compliance monitoring, auditing, and remediation processes including DPIAs.
  • Assist in developing data flow diagrams, where needed, that can be shared with cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinate and deliver ongoing and/or supplemental learning materials for organization globally on privacy best practices and regulations.
  • Conduct research, analysis, and reporting on the impacts of new legal changes or of potential policy changes.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of privacy policies and procedures.
  • Respond to privacy-related inquiries from both within and outside the organization.
  • Promote a positive team culture that fosters open communication among all team members.

About You - Essential Qualifications   

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as law, privacy, information technology.
  • 4+ years of experience in information security and Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) with a specialty in privacy and data security in the technology sector.
  • Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and other ever evolving international privacy laws and regulations.
  • Experience with privacy and data governance management platforms, OneTrust preferred.
  • Demonstrable ability to manage competing priorities efficiently and timely.
  • Proven experience with evaluating, summarizing, organizing, and interpreting data.
  • Ability to easily establish and cultivate business relationships and a professional network, including with senior executives.
  • Professional Certification such as IAPP or equivalent.
  • Experience in a technology environment, preferred but not required.

The salary range varies, and pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, certifications (if applicable), candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and years of experience among other factors.   

 $150,000 – 170,000
