Description
The Senior Technical Project Manager in Laserfiche Consulting has the opportunity to drive the innovative implementation of our products with universities, financial services institutions, local to federal government, and other customer organizations across the United States as they move to digitally transform their operations.
Responsibilities include ensuring the success of software implementation projects with direct customers, from planning, overseeing, communicating, and documenting all aspects of the project throughout the project life cycle to serving as the primary point of contact for the customer. Candidates should be confident, comfortable speaking with customers, and technical enough to assist in the technical implementation of a project.

About the Role - Essential Functions
- Take lead on projects of large and small
- Execute projects according to the Statement of Work. Create and submit Change Orders when required
- Ensure requirements are well defined, clearly documented, and agreed to by all relevant stakeholders
- Create and maintain the project plan, ensuring adherence to PM methodology
- Monitor and report on project status, including scope, schedule, budget, and quality
- Identify all project stakeholders and maintain a stakeholder communication plan
- Schedule and run project meetings, including kickoff, requirements gathering, status updates, demos, closeout, and other additional meetings as required
- Determine and manage project staffing requirements and project execution schedule
- Identify, analyze, prioritize, and plan mitigation for project risk
- Perform billing for milestone-based projects
- Identify and provide suggestions for process improvement and participate in department retrospectives
- Provide guidance, best practice and mentoring for junior project managers

- This position is assigned to highly sensitive government projects and may require an FBI criminal background check or similar (which require fingerprinting) in addition to the background check Laserfiche conducts for all new employees. All offers of employment for this position will be contingent on the candidate passing all required background checks and, if the candidate is unable to do so, the offer will be withdrawn, or the individual’s employment will be terminated.
About You - Essential Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in a software or professional services company
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in a software or professional services company
- 3 years of Project Management experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Comfortable communicating across all customer and internal organizational levels
- Advanced problem solving skills, with good judgement in selecting a preferred solution
- Excellent initiative and ability to anticipate and proactively address project issues
- Excellent attention to detail. Ability to manage competing priorities and take responsibility for timely completion of tasks
- PMP, CSM preferred
The salary range varies, and pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, certifications (if applicable), candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and years of experience among other factors.
- $128,000 - $143,000
